Scott Wright, an experienced psychologist, established Sydney Emotional Fitness in 2008. His personal passion is not only to assist his clientele to overcome their current issues, but to guide them towards emotional health, resilience and wellbeing. Scott has been the driving force behind the practice and counseling ethos of Sydney Emotional Fitness.
Scotts approach to treatment at Sydney Emotional Fitness is based on scientifically supported methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other Mindfulness based techniques. These methods are used in collaboration with the individual’s very unique experience with their issues and circumstances. Neuroscience also plays a significant part of the treatment process as Scott’s approach encompasses the knowledge of the brain, mind, emotions, and behavior.

Scott is a licensed member of the Registration Board and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). His practices are aligned with the Ethical Standards of the APS.
In addition to his current work Scott brings extensive life experience to the therapeutic setting, with experiences from his time in the Police Force, Commerce, Critical Incident Training, and Disability areas.
